Request identity
Palmata identifies its website requests with this User-Agent:
Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; PalmataBot/1.0; +https://web-bot.palmata.ai)
A User-Agent is a transparent identifier, not cryptographic proof of the requester. Browser-rendered requests may also carry provider-signed Web Bot Auth headers that identify the rendering infrastructure.
Control access with robots.txt
Website owners can explicitly allow PalmataBot:
User-agent: PalmataBot
Allow: /
To decline access, use Disallow: /. PalmataBot also honors applicable rules in the User-agent: * group.
